Difficulty E: Hiking trail

From Malga Sorgazza, now a restaurant, take the forest road up to the cable car, then take path 327 to the Bualon. From here you climb more steeply arriving finally for characteristic granite paving up to the lake and then in a few minutes to the Refuge brentari (m. 2.476). From here it is possible to climb Cima d'Asta (m. 2.847 - 1 hour and 15’/ 370 m. altitude difference), highest peak of the group and exceptional panoramic point.

For the return follow the path of the outward.

By road

From highway 47 of the valsugana exit at the exit for Castel Ivano (Strigno) - and follow the signs for Valle del tesino.

Once reached Pieve Tesino, follow the signs to Val Malene, then to Malga Sorgazza.

Un trekking un po' impegnativo, ma con grande soddisfazione una volta raggiunta la cima, con splendida vista a 360° dalle Alpi Austriache alla laguna di Venezia (in condizioni ottimali si vede il luccichio della laguna). Da non perdere: una sosta al Rifugio per un buon pranzetto (o cenetta) accompagnato da una birra fresca; il tramonto dalla terrazza del Rifugio. (mi manca l'alba dal Zimon, ma rimedierò)

Non è di certo una passeggiata ma la fatica viene ripagata una volta arrivati al rifugio. Consiglio di fermarsi a dormire al rifugio per vedere il tramonto e l'alba (spettacolari!) e per salire in cima il giorno dopo prima di scendere a valle.

Da Malga Sorgazza, si sale dalla strada forestale fino al piccolo ponte che si trova sulla destra.Quindi attraversando il torrente, si sale dal sentiero 326 fino alla forcella del Passetto a quota 2495 m. Da qui si percorre il sentiero verso il Rifugio Brentari (m. 2.476) in circa 20 minuti.Ora è possibile raggiungere la vetta di Cima d’Asta a m. 2.847 in 1ora circa. Per il ritorno si segue il sentiero 327, chiudendo il giro in senso antiorario fino al punto di partenza.
