This trail was used in the 30's by the shepherds of Val Campelle: it links the pasturelands of the new Agritur Malga Casarina with the fields of Malga Caldenave, which is now a wonderful refuge, along a way characterized by the presence of secular pines, that are called "Zirmi" by the locals.

Malghe and Zirmi path retraces the track, that the Shepherds of Val Campelle travelled through each summer to bring the young cows in the high pasturelands.
It starts from Malga Casarina, an alpine hut which has also a restaurant where you can taste local dishes.
The path goes up throughout the forest till malga Nassere and then till the private parking place of Rifugio Caldenave. This is the starting point of the Zirmi path. Walking along the Caldenave river you can reach Rifugio Caldenave and its uncontamined environmen.
After a pleasant break you can descend into the valley crossing the Campivello bridge and following the path 332 till Tedon: a series of steps will bring you down in a few time.
From Tedon you have to cross the green pastures and follow the signs to Malga Casarina to reach the starting point of the tour.
